How to Practice Gratitude: Gratitude is something we have to work at and with daily practise, it will become more automatic. This super simple daily gratitude habit will help you be grateful every day.
Be Generous Person
Be generous toward those with less and not envious of people who have more. Live in a world of those who have and those who lack and would suggest being generous to people who are less fortunate than yourself. This does not mean that we are wealthier ourselves, but with what we have. With that sort of thinking breeds contentment and not jealousy and envy. That will remind you of how good you really have it.
Be grateful for what you have
Give consideration to the many blessings you have. Living in a consumer society, the majority of us are completely conscious of what we don’t have–and how we absolutely need to have “it” But how often do we reflect upon that which we currently have? Take some time each day and think of a couple of things that you have that you might typically take for granted, then have a minute and give thanks for all those things.
Create Quite Time
Set aside time regularly to have quiet moments, to reflect. We live in a very business word. From the minute we awake to the minute we collapse into bed, we’ve got the tendency to go at full speed and never slow down. If we schedule time daily in which we could be quiet and reflect, we will free our hearts and heads from the tyranny of the urgency and hurry.
Ask those around you
Ask a friend what they are thankful for. You’ll be amazed at the responses you get, and you’ll create significant bonds because you concentrate on this potent query.
Acknowledge those closer to you
Lastly, tell those you love just how grateful you are for having them in your lifetime. So many times we neglect to spend the time to craft the words to express to those closest to us what their existence in our lives means to us. Take the opportunity to write them a notice. Let them understand what they mean for you personally, and consequently you’ll start to produce the possibility of deeper, richer, more fulfilling relationships with all those you love.
