The Wine Doctor is more than just a high-tech cork; it’s a vacuum pump system that extracts air from an open bottle of wine.

The “Intelli-stopper,” a patented silicon “cork” with a sequence of O-rings that ensures an airtight closure, is then used to seal it. If any air leak into the bottle, a red indication on the stopper indicates that it’s time to pump more air out.

Wine’s adversary is air. With too much air, that beautiful bottle of Cabernet becomes harsh vinegar.

When a bottle is opened, the wine begins to alter unless it is kept from being exposed to air. An open bottle is claimed by the Wine Doctor’s suction pump and high-tech cork mechanism.
