NEW MPESA Tarrifs, MPESA Charges ; Withdrawal Charges
What is MPESA?
MPESA is a mobile money service offered by Safaricon PLC and is available in Kenya and other countries across E Africa. MPESA was rolled out in 2007 and has since grow in customer base to over 24 Million customers. MPESA Service e allows users to deposit money into an account stored on their mobile, to send balances to other users and buy goods using MPESA, LIPA NA MPESA. The charges below applies to MPESA transactions across Safaricom lines /customers only.
The charges below arenew M-PESA tariffs, but are often reviewed and changes made ;
Some changes on charges have been affected to cushion Kenyans during Covid 19 period.
Maximum MPESA Account Balance is Ksh 100,000. (This has been increased to Ksh. 300,000)
The maximum Daily Transaction Value is Ksh 140,000. Maximum per transaction is Ksh 70,000( This has been increased to Ksh.150,000)
Minimum Withrawal from MPESA Agent is Ksh. 50
To transact, your Safaricom line and M-PESA account must be active.
To register or transact at any M-PESA Agent outlet, you will be required to produce your original identification document like National ID, Passport, Military ID, Diplomatic ID or Alien ID/Foreigner Certificate.
