What is Brush Hero?

Brush Hero is a unique water-powered oscillating detail brush meant to clean vehicle and truck tires, wheels, and rims, but it can be used on anything.

Brush Hero does not require batteries or energy to work and is equipped with unrivalled spinning motion that sends purposefully slow and steady spinning action to those hard-to-reach locations.

Brush Hero is meant for “professional car detailing,” returning brilliance to all the components of a vehicle’s wheels.

It is powered by a regular garden hose that offers pressurized water flow to deliver considerable torque or turning force (tires, rims, hubcaps and lug nuts).

Brush Hero is made of robust plastic components that will not rust or break down when subjected to today’s cleaning chemicals and detailing agents, and it has simultaneous scrubbing and rinsing power without harming those valuable glass and paint surfaces.

Brush Hero has been featured and promoted by a broad range of car, bike, RV, and other business sector publications and enthusiasts, and it guarantees 100 percent satisfaction as well as exceptional customer service.

Who is the founder of Brush Hero?

Brush Hero was founded by Kevin Williams and Glenn Archer of Alexandria, Virginia.

Williams and Archer are “auto fanatics” who desired an eco-friendly approach to clean and polish their vehicles. They confess that keeping their computers running has always been difficult for them.

To make their argument, they go on to discuss some of the difficulties associated with the use of sponges, brushes, and chemicals.

A Brush Hero consumes half the water of a free-flowing hose, and the scrubbing, “muck busting” brush heads operate quicker and more efficiently than stand-alone scrubbers.

They launched the company in 2015 and saw near-immediate success.

They’re also a socially conscious corporation that collaborated with Salt Lake City-based Columbus Professional Services, an organization dedicated to “promoting the growth, development, and independence of people with disabilities.”

Their factory handles all assembly, packing, and shipping.

What happened to Brush Hero at the Shark Tank Pitch?

Kevin and Glenn entered Shark Tank Season 9 episode 18 looking for $500,000 for a 10% stake in their company.

This equates to a $5 million valuation. They make their presentation, then showcase the product onstage on a motorcycle.

They ask the Sharks to come try it out once they’re finished. Lori and Daymond try it out.

They sell them at $34.99 and make them for $6.50, which appeals to the Sharks.

Following that, they distribute samples to all of the Sharks, and the questioning begin.

They largely advertise on Facebook. A $460,000 advertising budget resulted in $1.2 million in sales.

Robert believes their $10 million valuation is far too high. He values it at $1.7 million. Lori is curious about competition. There are none.

Robert is the first Shark to leave, claiming that he is “not a cleaning man.”

In terms of others reproducing their work, Mark expects that they will face a difficult road ahead of them. He also backs out of a deal, citing the fact that the firm does not have “a long-term benefit.”

Kevin doesn’t agree with the valuation, therefore he’s gone.

Daymond does not agree with the valuation, but he offers $500,000 in exchange for a 25% stake.

Lori also offers them an offer that is equal to the other shark’s—$500,000 for 25% and promotes her QVC program as an excellent venue for the goods.

They reply with 20%, and both Sharks remain solid. When they walk out to the conference room to talk, Robert informs the other Sharks that there is a comparable product on the market.

When the boys return, Daymond inquires whether there are any additional spinning cleaning brushes available, to which he is informed that there are. He quickly withdraws his offer, claiming ignorance of the situation.

Lori revised her offer to a $250,000 loan at 7% interest with another $250,000 at 25%. They turn down the offer. They ultimately depart the tank, thanking them for their time.

Brush Hero after the Shark Tank Pitch

Even though they did not secure a deal on the show, they did witness an uptick in sales as a result of the “Shark Tank Effect.”

In fact, they’ve landed two large partnerships in the last few months, one with Costco in the United States and another with Canadian Tire in Canada.

Five weeks after the show aired, Amazon was inundated by cheap Chinese knockoffs.

The items seemed to be identical, even down to the box, but they were badly manufactured, causing Brush Hero’s customer service lines to light up. This prompted an investigation of Amazon’s policy.

They were named one of the 25 greatest presents for auto fans for the 2018 holiday season by Car and Driver Magazine after successfully resolving the counterfeit issue.

The firm is doing well as of June 2021, with yearly revenues of $6 million.

Brush Hero Net Worth

Brush Hero FAQS

What is Brush Hero?

Brush Hero is a non-battery powered cleaning brush that attaches to the garden hose, allowing you to effectively clean your car without using spray cleaners.

If they require assistance, please contact them at [email protected]brushhero.com.

Does the brush continue to spin when pressure is applied?

Yes. This is one of the Hero’s most interesting aspects. It can be halted with very forceful palm pressure or by shoving it violently into a tight place, but the brush typically continues to spin.

What is the warranty?

They stand behind their product and promise complete satisfaction. Each Brush Hero device is covered by a one-year guarantee.

If clients have a bad experience with one of their items, they may return it for a refund of the purchase price (shipping and handling not included).

How does this brush work?

There are no mechanical pieces to break or rust over time, such as fins, blades, gears, or other mechanical parts.

The Brush Hero turbine operates only on the dynamics of pressured water, translating applied pressure into spinning force, or torque.

In layman’s words, their garden hose causes it to move.

What pressure is required for the brush hero to operate?

The Brush Hero is intended to work with typical household water pressure.

Reduced pressures from rural well systems, for example, may result in less torque.
